Kawaii Kowai Alchemy
かわいいこわいアルケミー
Kawaii in Japanese translates to "cute" and kowai translates to "scary".
Kawaii is more than just a word, it's a movement, focused on finding joy in cute, colorful, playful fashion that inspires happiness with the pureness of childlike curiosity (similar to kid-core).
There are also darker, creepy and scary themes within kawaii culture.
Alchemy is defined as: "a magical process of transforming or combining elements into something new"
which, personally, translates to creative processes achieved in a state of artistic flow.
Thus becoming, cute, creepy magic!

I want to share my playful, grateful, love of life, friendship and open-mindedness through the art I create.
I have a bachelor of arts degree in photography with a minor in Japanese language.
I've been a practicing mindfulness, meditation and minimalism since 2019.
A wise person once said, "Life is only interesting if life is wide."
With my art I hope to make the world a more loving, kind, friendly place to be.
